How to buy flammable gas alarms on the market and tips on installation
The flammable gas alarm is used for real-time monitoring of chemicals that may store flammable or explosive flammable gases, or where there may be leakage of flammable or explosive gases. When flammable and explosive flammable gases are detected in the air. When the concentration is exceeded, the alarm announces the alarm and controls the relevant safety equipment to perform the corresponding operations, such as starting the explosion-proof fan, cutting off the air circuit, cutting off the circuit, and so on.
The state and enterprises have increased their investment in safety, and the demand for flammable gas alarm flammable gas detectors has increased greatly. Many funds and personnel have poured into the gas detector gas concentration alarm, which has led to many different brands of products. Present, the quality of the product is mixed; how to choose a suitable gas detector or gas leak alarm?
1. Detailed description of the site of installing the gas concentration alarm for your own needs and needs. The experienced supplier will basically understand it. If there are a large number of requirements, it is good to check and understand each other.
2. Recognize whether the supplier-related products are fully certificated, such as: 3C certification, explosion-proof certificate, measurement certificate, etc., and some may require proof of supply;
3, the truth of the price of a share of goods, always remember that there is no good goods at a low price, do not blindly seek cheap and heavy losses, security products must ensure quality under the premise of quality.
Once the flammable gas alarm fixed-point device is in place, its orientation is not easy to change.
(1) Clarify which devices may be leaked, analyze their leakage pressure, direction and other factors, and draw the probe azimuth distribution map, according to the severity of the leakage, the classification of I, II, III three levels.
(2) According to the specific elements such as airflow direction and wind direction of the location, the direction of leakage of the combustible gas when a large number of leaks occur.
(3) According to the density of the leaking gas (greater than or less than the air), combined with the trend of air activity, the comprehensive trend of the three-dimensional activity trend of the leakage is made, and the initial set point plan is made in the downstream direction of the activity.
(4) The leakage of the leak point is studied as a micro-leakage or a hairspray. If it is a micro leak, set the position of the point to be close to the leak point. If it is a spray-like leak, it should be slightly away from the leak. Summarize these situations and draw up a final plan. In this way, the quantity and type of demand purchases can be budgeted.
(5) Where there is a large flammable gas leaking place, a detection point shall be set for each distance of 10-20m according to the relevant regulations. Regarding the small and non-operating pump rooms that are unattended, it is necessary to pay attention to the possibility of flammable gas leakage. Generally, a detector should be installed at the inferior port.
(6) Regarding the place where hydrogen leaks, the detector should be placed on the plane above the leak point.
(7) Regarding the medium with a gas density greater than air, the detector should be placed on the lower plane below the point of leakage and pay attention to the surrounding environment. Special attention should be paid to the setting of safety monitoring points for places where simple accumulation of flammable gases is required. The density of the gas to be measured is different, and the orientation of the device of the indoor probe should also be different. When the measured gas density is less than the air density, the probe should be installed 30cm away from the roof and the direction is downward; otherwise, the probe should be placed 30cm away from the ground, and the direction is upward.
(8) Regarding the open flammable gas dispersion and escape environment, if there is no outstanding ventilation condition, it is very simple to make the flammable gas content in a certain part of the air close to or reach the lower blasting concentration. These are safety monitoring points that cannot be ignored. .
(9) There must be no strong electromagnetic fields (such as high-power motors and transformers) that affect the external operation of the alarm.
(10) The alarm device is a safe appearance. It has sound and light function. It should be installed in the local area where the operator can easily see and hear it, so as to eliminate hidden dangers in time.
(11) The height of the alarm device should generally be 160-170cm, so that maintenance personnel can carry out routine maintenance.
(12) The alarm probe is mainly a detecting component of the touch incineration gas sensor. The platinum wire coil is coated with alumina and a binder to form a spherical shape, and the outer surface thereof is provided with a rare metal such as platinum or palladium. Therefore, be careful when installing the device to prevent the probe from being broken.
(13) The device of the open-air probe can select the height of the device according to the density of the gas to be measured. It is important to note that the probe should be installed on the inferior side.
(14) The connection cable of the alarm circuit should be equipped with a maintenance casing. It is best to add a metal hose at the connection of the probe, and pay attention to the explosion-proof level of the factory.
(15) After the device is commissioned, be sure to install a breathable waterproof cover to prevent rain from entering the damaged probe.
